Abstract

The study aimed to identify the concept Scientific research, its importance and objectives. It also aims to know an overview of the history of the introduction of Islam and the Arabic language in Nigeria and the means of their introduction, then to address the impact of scientific research in developing Arabic and Islamic sciences in Nigeria. To achieve these goals, he tries to search for answers to the following questions: What is the concept of scientific research, what is its importance, types, conditions, and goals? What is the history of the introduction of Islam and the Arabic language into Nigeria and the means of their introduction? What is the impact of scientific research on the development of Arabic and Islamic sciences in Nigeria? The study is expected to conclude that the impact of scientific research in the Arabic and Islamic language in Nigeria is characterized by development, and this is due to the contributions of Nigerian scholars to the Arab and Islamic writing movement from the nineteenth century AD until today. As well as the role of Arab universities, colleges and institutes in charging students to do research before granting them a certificate. The study suggests increasing interest in the Nigerian researcher and improving his financial situation and standard of living so that he can devote himself fully to scientific research. Providing the necessary funds for academic and non-academic scientists to carry out scientific research. Conducting further studies on scientific research in general and in the Arabic and Islamic language in particular. Holding seminars, conferences and workshops to highlight the role of scientific research. ‏
